Job Overview:
LPL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer and this individual will be responsible for the design, engineering, and operations of campus local area and wide area networks in a multi-data center environment. The role relates directly to providing scalable, robust, and secure network solutions to LPLs, our consultants, and their clients.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of local campus and data center network solutions
Configuration and implementation of cloud-based and on-premises network technologies
Design, Deployment and Management of Wide Area Networks of MPLS, DIA and SDWAN
Solve complex problems and identify the root cause of problems and drive continuous improvement of the platform
Participate in a waiting time change

Requirements:
Extensive experience with Viptela SDWAN
Minimum five years of experience supporting data center core networks andSetup/Troubleshootingof Cisco switches and routers
Experience in configuration and development of campus wireless networks.
Security hardening and controls for network devices
Expert knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
Experience using network monitoring and logging tools such as SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK to perform regular network performance and compliance analysis
Experience in network optimization, reporting and long-term planning
Basic skills:
Ability to generate and read packet captures for wired and wireless networks for advanced troubleshooting and optimization of network traffic
Develop network standards in accordance with technology and industry best practices.
Demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Hands-on experience and engineering-level experience with Cisco switches such as the Nexus 9000, 7000, 5000, and 2000 switches
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate others with business acumen and educate others on complex technology.
Experience in the design, architecture, planning and implementation of routing, switching and data center solutions and strategies in multi-vendor environments.
Ideas:
Recent certification as a Cisco Certified Design Professional and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional is preferred, but not required
Experience with ACI and/or DNAC/SDA is a plus
Bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable professional experience

$102,280 to $153,420/year
The salary range depends on a number of factors, including the applicant's skills, experience, and workplace.
